Removal of piece of skin for diagnostic purposes - involves using layer of thin material bonded to skin
摘要
A piece of skin is removed from a patient for diagnostic purposes in order to determine the presence of bacteria and to identify any such bacteria. The removal of the skin (6) is facilitated by first bonding a thin piece of material (5) over the area to be removed. The bonded on material is chosen so that it has the same moisture content and fat content characteristics as that of the skin which is to be removed. This method of skin removal, prevents the bacteria in the skin from being subjected to any process which would affect the subsequent diagnosis. USE/ADVANTAGE - Removal of skin for diagnostic purposes without affecting any bacteria in the skin.
