The invention relates to a device in a machine handling package units (24), comprising a conveying means for conveying on an upper surface thereof said units in one main direction, a plurality of abutments (16A-16D) arranged along said conveying means for preventing said units from moving in said main direction, said abutments being movable vertically between a lower inoperative position, and an upper operative position, and first gripper means (20) for lifting off units carried on said abutments. Said abutments are provided with second gripper means (25) for detaining said units thereon when said abutments are moved from said inoperative position to said operative position. |
