In the procedure the impregnation of accumulations of textile fibres is effected, especially wool, with impregnation by means of hydrogen peroxide, which exercises a bleaching action subsequent to its decomposition, characterised by proceeding to the insufflation of air at greater than atmospheric pressure at the lower part or base of the accumulation, achieving the cooling of the accumulation of wool during bleaching in situ without the necessity of moving the fibres or stirring the same during the bleaching. The air supply is preferably effected by means of a series of tubes located at the base of the accumulation, which same tubes are provided with multiple orifices and which receive low pressure air from a turbine fan. |
