PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber reinforced rubber hose sufficient in adhesion of an outer surface rubber layer by manufacturing a fiber reinforced rubber hose in which an inner surface rubber layer is protruded to the outer surface rubber side between fiber yarns in a range of 0.4-0.8mm by a method of braiding while adding a fixed tension to a fiber reinforcing yarn. CONSTITUTION:Viton rubber and nitrile rubber are simultaneously extruded in two-layer structure onto the outer circumference of a mandrel to form an inner surface rubber layer 1. Two reinforcing fiber yarns 2 are paralleled and braided on the outer circumference thereof. Hydrin rubber is further extruded and molded on the outer circumference without application of an adhesive to form an outer surface rubber layer 3, and its outer circumference is coated with methyl pentene resin to provide a coat layer. After curing this, the coat layer is removed, and the mandrel is pulled out to obtain a rubber hose. The tension added to the two paralleled reinforcing fiber yarns 2 is constant within the range of 250g to 400g, and the height (x) of the projection part 4 of the inner surface rubber layer 1 is 0.4-0.8mm. Thus, a hose excellent in adhesion of the outer surface rubber layer can be economically provided without requiring application adhesive and secondary curing. |
