PURPOSE:To sufficiently mix a low temperature fuel fed in each plunger barrel and a high temperature fuel returned from each plunger barrel, together, and to equalize the fuel temperature of each plunger barrel by feeding the fuel from each fuel feeding port to both ends of a fuel gallery chamber. CONSTITUTION:Plural plunger barrels 1A-1D are provided in the top part of a pump housing 4, and a plunger 2 is fitted and installed on the inside of each part in such a way that the plunger can move vertically. A suction hole 11 is formed on the opposed side wall with the plunger 2 sandwiched therebetween, in each plunger barrel 1A-1D, and the upper part space in each plunger barrel 1A-1D is communicated to a fuel gallery chamber 3. The gallery chamber 3 penetrates the outer peripheral region from the plunger barrel 1A through the plunger barrel 1D, and is thus formed, while fuel feeding ports 41, 42 are opened on both ends thereof. A fuel of low temperature is supplied from both sides at the same time to the fuel gallery chamber 3, and a high temperature surplus fuel is fed from the suction hole 11, and these two fuels are sufficiently mixed together. |
