PURPOSE:To make extruded shapes light in weight and to make them hard to generate stress corrosion crack because they are made into smooth variation of area corresponding to required design strength by inserting the extruded shapes between rolls of which the gap is automatically adjustable and rolling. CONSTITUTION:After the extruded shapes 1 are made in the state of heat treatment excellent in extensibility, the extruded shapes 1 are inserted into a multi roll device 3 which is formed by arranging many rolls which are made with a pair that is composed of an upper roll 2a and lower roll 2b of which the center interval is controlled in the horizontal direction and rolled. The height of the upper roll 2a of the multi roll device 3 into which the extruded shapes 1 in the state of heat treatment is inserted is adjusted with a jack 5 through a lever 4, the height of the lower roll 2b is directly adjusted with the jack 5 and the center interval is adjusted. By adjusting the center interval following the traveling of the extruded shapes, the parts with a specified variation of area that is matched with design requirement can be obtained. |
