<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the detection of the contamination of outside air beforehand by judging the presence or absence of traffic jam based on the running pattern of a vehicle, and judging the contamination of the outside air. CONSTITUTION:In an automobile 1, a sensor 2 for detecting the speed of the vehicle, a front sensor 3 which detects a vehicle in the forward direction, a back sensor 4 which detects a vehicle in the backward direction and a computer 5 which judges the contaminated state of outside air are provided. When the speed of the vehicle is the specified speed or higher, it is judged that there is no traffic jam and the outside air is in the normal conditions. When the speed is less than the specified speed and there is no vehicle in the forward direction, the no traffic jam and the normal state are judged. When the speed is less than the specified speed, there is a vehicle in the forward direction and there is no vehicle in the backward direction, it is judged that the outside air is in the weak contaminated state. When the speed is less than the specified speed and there are vehicles both in the forward and backward directions, the strong contaminated state is judged. When the judgment is performed in association with the traffic jam, the contamination of the outside air can be positively detected beforehand.</p> |
