Washing machine to clean workpieces, such as stampings or turned or milled components, and to clear them of oil and grease and other dirt has a rotating spray drum (2) and a rotating drying drum (3) in the housing (5) in addn. to the washing drum (1). The feeds to supply washing media to the drums lead to the end sides of each drum and the outlet openings are at the other end sides of each drum. Spirals (12) within the drums (1, 2, 3) move the workpieces along from one end side of each drum to the other end side. Pref. the washing drum (1) is partially immersed in an overflow basing (23) and the jets (17) are arranged to agitate the washing medium in the basin (23). A supply vessel (7) is below the overflow basing (23), and a pump is in the connection between the supply (7) and basin (23). The drives for the drums (1, 2, 3) rotate each drum faster than its preceding drum. The washing drum (1) and the spray drum (2) are next to each other in the housing (5), and the drying drum (3) is below the spray drum (2). A collecting vessel (8) is below the spray drum (2), connected to the catch basin (39) below the drum (2) by a return flow channel (40). An oil extractor, working with the supply vessel (7), gives clean washing medium for recirculation. A conveyor belt (14), as a magnetic belt (14), carries the workpieces between the outlet side of the washing drum (1) and the inlet side of the spray drum (2). ADVANTAGE - The washing machine can be located at the position where the workpieces are machined, so that they can be cleaned rapidly without affecting the environment.
