PURPOSE:To surely generate a predetermined fluid pressure at all times by controlling a pump so as to stop its driving, and surely preventing the pump from sucking air, when a level of operating fluid in an operating fluid supply port of a reservoir is lowered from a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a device which drives a pump 3 to accumulate a predetermined fluid pressure in an accumulator when a fluid pressure of the accumulator is decreased lower than the predetermined fluid pressure by providing a pressure switch 8 for detecting the fluid pressure of the accumulator, a level switch 9 for detecting a level of brake fluid is provided in a brake fluid supply port 6a of a reservoir 6. For instance, in the case such as when a vehicle is in running on a sharp descending road, in a condition that the level switch 9 is opened by tilting a brake fluid surface to a degree such as exposing the brake fluid supply port 6a in the air as shown by (b) in the drawing, the fluid pressure of the accumulator is decreased lower than the predetermined value, and even when the pressure switch 8 is closed, action of the pump 3 by a motor is impeded to prevent the pump 3 from sucking air. |
