<p>PURPOSE:To automatically perform a continuous operation or an initial setting operation by deciding whether the contents of a memory are identical with a prescribed pattern or not when a main power supply is switched on again. CONSTITUTION:When no power is supplied from a main power supply 100, a sub-power supply clocking circuit 104 is reset and at the same time a prescribed pattern writing circuit 107 writes a prescribed pattern, e.g., '1010' into a pattern storage circuit 108. When the value of the circuit 104 is equal to a prescribed level, a clear circuit 106 writes '1111', for example, into the circuit 108. When the power supply 100 is applied again, a pattern deciding circuit 110 decides the data stored in the circuit 108 to continue the due processing with the pattern '1010'. Meanwhile an initial setting circuit 111 works with patterns except the pattern '1010'. Thus a normal continuous operation or resetting operation is automatically carried out.</p> |
