<p>PURPOSE:To enable a long-term storage of a plant body by storing the plant body in a suitable low temperature and high humidity atmosphere, attaching fog of ozone water to the surface of the plant body, inhibiting growth thereof and removing ethylene generated from the plant body thereby. CONSTITUTION:In a plant body storage apparatus composed of a cooler 122 capable of temperature control and a cold storage chamber 101 mutually connected with ducts 123 and 118, the cold storage chamber 101 is equipped with moisturing nozzles 104 for application of fog of ozone water ultra-fine particles and holders 103 for the plant body (Y) are arranged thereunder. Electrodes 111 and 112 are attached above the moisturing nozzles 104 and under the plant body holders 103 respectively so as to give an electric charge to the ozone water fog. To the ceiling part, FR light sources 114 for inhibiting growth of the plants and/or R light sources 115 for promoting growth of the plants are attached and ethylene generated form the plant body is removed by an ethylene filter 119.</p> |
