Polyvinyl chloride film compsn. comprises polyvinyl chloride (100 kg) contg. carbon (0.1-20 g). Identification card comprises a laminate of PVC contg. carbon; and a non-transparent layer. These cards are easily inscribed using a laser beam; and have the advantage of not absorbing moisture readily (c.f. PVC with cellulose filler).
