PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a shift shock at a low speed range due to an accumulator by providing a back pressure control means to control the back pressure of the accumulator according to a car speed during a shift to a 1-speed at a low speed range. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 85 to cushion an engaging pressure during engagement of a low reverse brake is located in an oil passage running to a low reverse brake 46 of a hydraulic control circuit. A back pressure control to control the back pressure of the accumulator 85 according to a car speed during a shift to a 1-speed at a low speed range is provided. Namely, during a shift to an R-range, a shift shock is prevented from occurring by means of the accumulator 85 located to the low reverse brake 46, and during a shift to a 1-speed at 1-range, the back pressure of the accumulator 85 is controllable according to a car speed. This constitution relaxes a shift shock, occurring owing to the accumulator 85, at an optimum state. |
