PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. showing a high flame retardance according to the UL specifications and having an excellent impact resistance by compounding PP with a specific ethylenebisbromophthalimide, Sb2O3, and Mg(OH)2 each in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. PP is compounded with 15-100 pts.wt. ethylenebisbromophthalimide of the formula (wherein n is 1-4), 3-50 pts.wt. Sb2O3, and 30-150 pts.wt. Mg(OH)2. |
