PURPOSE:To continuously execute an action before the interruption of a power source with a peripheral equipment after the power source is resupplied without providing the peripheral equipment exclusive for buck up memory by providing a storage means storing information, a means detecting whether the information is stored or not when the power source of a device is supplied and a means carrying out sending to the peripheral equipment when the storing of the image formation is detected. CONSTITUTION:When a signal for requiring that the processing of the interruption of the power source is preferentially executed is inputted from an IPU 25 to a CPU 21, the CPU 21 judges whether paper jamming occurs on a main body 11 or not. When the paper jamming occurs, a JAM flag is set to a prescribed region inside a RAM 23, and data for displaying the states of the main body and an automatic document feeder is stored in the RAM 23. When a jammed paper is removed and a front cover is closed, the power source is resupplied, and the CPU 21 is reset to an initial state. An I/O 24 is initialized, and continuously, whether the JAM fag is set to RAM 23 or not is checked. When it is not set, the automatic document feeder is initialized, and when it is set, the data for displaying the state before the power source is interrupted, from the RAM 23 is sent to the automatic document feeder, and the action before the paper jamming occurs is continued. |
