PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly adjustment by adding a multi-mode fiber which has a large core diameter to a single-mode fiber array and facilitate the incidence of light. CONSTITUTION:A single-mode fiber 11 for output, single-mode fibers 12 for input, a collimator lens 13, a diffraction grating 14, and a multi-mode fiber 15 for optical adjustment are provided. The multi-mode fiber 15 is large in core diameter and large in NA, so light exiting from the single-mode optical fibers 11 and 12 can easily be guided in, so the quantity of light can be detected to some extent even in case of an angle deviation or out-of-focus. The best adjustment position can be found quickly. Consequently, the assembly adjustment of the optical component is easily and speedily made and a Fourier diffraction grating is used for a diffraction grating 14 to reduce the loss and a polarized wave noise due to polarization plane variation. |
