PURPOSE:To easily manage toll broadcast and to reduce the production cost of a receiver by providing a receiver having a first processing means to process an information signal indicating contents of data broadcast and a second processing means to process information for control of reception of the data broadcast. CONSTITUTION:The first processing means which processes the information signal indicating contents of the data broadcast and the second processing means which processes information for control of reception of the data broadcast are provided. That is, a packet including information for control of reception of the data broadcast and a packet including the information signal indicating contents of the data broadcast are sent by a sending means of a transmitter, and information for control of reception of the data broadcast received by a reception means is processed in the second processing means based on a service discrimination code stored in the storage means of an IC card, and the information signal indicating contents of the data broadcast received by the reception means is processed in the first processing means corresponding to the discriminated code stored in the storage means of the IC card. Thus, the toll broadcast is easily managed and the production cost of the receiver is reduced. |
