Oxo-synthesis prodn of optically active aldehydes - using rhodium carbonyl catalysts
摘要

Optically active aldehydes are produced by reacting prochiral olefinically unsatd. cpds. with CO and H2 at elevated temp and press. in the presence of Rh carbonyl complexes modified with optically active phosphines. The products may be used for producing biologically active agents; converted into optically active amines or alcohols, or used for effecting optical resolutions.
