PURPOSE:To secure an accelerating condition with no sense of incongruity by permitting inlet air pressure obtained at the downstream side of a supercharger in the inlet air passage of an engine to coincide with target inlet air pressure corrected by a target inlet air pressure correcting means by means of the inlet air pressure regulating section of a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:An inlet air pressure control means is provided, which controls inlet air pressure obtained at the downstream side of a supercharger in the inlet air passage of an engine to coincide with target inlet air pressure corrected by a target inlet air pressure correcting means, for an inlet air pressure regulating section of the supercharger where actuation control is assumed by a supercharger actuation control means. And target inlet air pressure set by a target inlet air pressure setting means is made to be one corrected in response to the operating conditions of the supercharger where actuation control is assumed by the supercharger actuation control means. By this constitution, the manipulation variable of an accelerator actuating section is increased, acceleration can thereby be provided, by which crews on a vehicle equipped with the engine are free from a sense of incongruity due to disappointing acceleration. |
