PURPOSE:To enable an electronic component automatic mounting device to be lessened in time loss at the replacement of a setup by a method wherein the clutch plates of a clutch mechanism are fastened to nuts, and component feed tables are selectively moved through the intermediary of the fixed members by making a ball screw pivot. CONSTITUTION:When a component feed table 11 is set on standby at a starting point indicated by a proximity switch, a clutch plate 28 is made to pivot in a counterclockwise direction around a shaft 30 as a center by a pushup member 38 resisting the energizing force of a spring 32, a protrusion 34 is separated from a fastening part 36, a fastening part 44 is fitted to a fastened part 40, a nut 20 is made to pivot with a ball screw 17 in pivoting motion, and the component feed table 11 is kept at a point where it is stopped. The ball screw 17 is made to pivot, and if the movement of the component feed table 12 is checked by a clutch mechanism 27, the component feed table 12 is moved to a prescribed point following the movement of the nut 21 due to the pivoting of the ball screw 17, and a component is taken out from a required tape feed device on the table 12 by a suction nozzle. |
