PURPOSE:To achieve skew compensation between timing generators which do not limit timing-setting range owned by a timing generator by providing a delay circuit and by supplying the delayed reference signal to the timing generator. CONSTITUTION:A shift register 3A shifts an input test period signal 20 according to a basic clock signal 10 and outputs signals 31 - 33 with a delay time which is 0 - N times larger than a period of a signal 10 from the signal 20. Then, a selector 3B selects one of the signals 31 - 33 as a reference signal 30 with data from a register 4 having delay information. Then, a timing generator 5 generates a signal 40 which is in synchronization with the signal 10 according to timing data which is set by a register 8 from the input signal 30. Also, each data of registers 4 and 8 is independent and skew compensation data and timing- setting data can be set arbitrarily, thus enabling skew and system timing to be compensated for without limiting setting range of timing data which a generator 5 has. |
