<p>PURPOSE:To automatically turn on and off a power supply or a shared resource control device arranged on a separated position by monitoring the power supply states of plural work stations connected to a local area network and controlling the ON/OFF of the power supply for the shared resource control device in accordance with the monitoring results. CONSTITUTION:This automatic power supply control device 1 is provided with a monitoring means 11 for monitoring the power supply states of plural work stations 5-1 to 5-n and a control means 12 for controlling the ON/OFF of the power supply for the shared resource control device. At the time of detecting that at least one 5-i of the work stations 5-1 to 5n is in a power supply ON state, power supply ON instructions are respectively outputted to a communication server 2 and a data base server 3 through a power supply ON/OFF control cables 101-1,102-2. Consequently, the power supply of the shared resource control device arranged on the separated position can be automatically turned on and off.</p> |
