PURPOSE:To determine a mount position of the next image element array by providing a marker formed in the same process as an image element to an image element array, by irradiating incident light to the marker at an angle within 10 deg. from a vertical direction and by detecting reflection light to recognize a position of the marker. CONSTITUTION:A position of a marker provided to both ends of an image element array 4 is detected bar a reflection light detection means 8 of a TV camera, etc. A position recognition means 10 compares a position of markers 22, 23 of an image element array 4 (shown by a chain line) which is temporarily mounted and mounted next to a marker position of an image element array which was mounted immediately before, obtains displacement between an interval of two markers and a predetermined interval and decides a mount position of the image element array 4 (shown by a chain line) which is mounted next based on the displacement. Light from a light source 14 in transverse direction is injected at an angle within 10 deg. from vertical direction to a marker by a half mirror 16. |
