The invention relates to an inverter circuit to power an inductive load. The circuit arrangement is designed to impose a low load on the controllable switch and cause low switching losses. This aim is achieved by a resonance inverter, the oscillation circuit (10) of which comprises a mutually saturatable inductor (L), the secondary winding (N2) of which is arranged in series with the inductive load (16) in order to return output load current to the oscillation circuit (10) and stabilise an input voltage applied to the oscillation circuit (10). The inverter of the invention is especially suitable for applications in the high-power range. |
