The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for supervising the condition of a radio-frequency amplifier. The arrangement of the invention comprises a first sampling means (2) for generating a sample signal (11) from the input signal of the radio-frequency amplifier (1); a second sampling means (3) for generating a sample signal (12) from the output signal of the radio-frequency amplifier (1); and means (8) for monitoring the gain of the radio-frequency amplifier (1) on the basis of the sample signals. |
