The charge amplifier circuit comprises an operational amplifier (V1) with an integration capacitor (C) across its inverting input and its output. The capacitor (C) is discharged upon closure of a resetting switch (S), with a correction charge supplied to the capacitor upon closure of the resetting switch (S) via a correction amplifier (V3), to compensate the zero error of the charge amplifier circuit. Pref. the output of the operational amplifier (V1) is coupled to the circuit output (A) and to the input of the correction amplifier (V3) via a follower amplifier (V2). The output of the correction amplifier (V3) is coupled to the resetting switch (S) via a resistor (R2), with a further resistor (R1) across the resetting switch (S) and the capacitor (C).
