It comprises a pair of hydraulic cylinders 1 coupled to each side of the lower part of the vehicle 3, a hydraulic unit whose motor is actuated by a battery, a base piece 5 integral with the frame 6 of the vehicle 3 on which the corresponding hydraulic cylinder 1 is mounted, and a transmission mechanism coupled to the rod 7 of the cylinder 1 and to the aforesaid base piece 5. The vehicle 3 is raised when the aforesaid transmission mechanism bears on the ground, upon actuation by means of the hydraulic cylinder 1. In a first embodiment, the transmission mechanism comprises a lever 8 articulated on the base piece 5, and in a second embodiment it comprises a pair of connected arms articulated via one end to a support platform. The hydraulic unit comprises a pair of controlled non- return valves for locking the cylinders 1 at rest. Operational safety is improved. <IMAGE>
