PURPOSE:To send a data efficiently between a message collection and distribution equipment and terminal equipments arranged decentralizingly in an optional location within a specific area by relaying the message collection and distribution equipment and the terminal equipments in an optical radio method via a repeating device. CONSTITUTION:The optical radio system 1 consists of a controller 2, a message collection and distribution equipment 3, a repeating device 4, a repeater 5 and terminal equipments 6. The repeating device is an optical transmitter-receiver relaying the message collection and distribution equipment 3 and the terminal equipments 6 and has optical radio light receiving sections each composed of a light receiving element PPD group and a light emitting element LED group, which are provided around the repeating device 4 so that the transmission/ reception of an optical radio signal is uniformed over the entire azimuth. The repeating device 4 applies frequency conversion to an optical signal (modulation signal) received and inputted and outputs the light. Through the constitution above, a data is sent efficiently between a message collection and distribution equipment and terminal equipments. |
