A method of liquidation of industrial effluents from sewage waters, in particular in coke chemistry and petrochemical industry with the use of coke characterised in that, after the biological treatment process, dry coke dust in the amount of 15-50 g/dm<3> obtained as a result of the process of dry quenching of coke is introduced to sewage waters, and the utilised coke dust has granulation from 0 to 1 mm granulation in the minimum of 85%.
