PURPOSE:To accurately input plural kinds of data by comparing the value and the change range of data distinguished by a boundary discriminating means to discriminate the classification of data and displaying discriminated data. CONSTITUTION:When a user inputs the length of a paper roll, a magnification, and the number of copies at random, data is stored in the storage element of a boundary discriminating means 2. The means 2 discriminates the boundary between data by operation time intervals for continuous depression of ten keys. A classification discriminating means 3 compares numerical values in the storage element and the change range to discriminate the length of the paper roll, the magnification, and the number of copies, and a display means 4 displays them. Since the user depresses a boundary key 8 for each data at the time of input, the means 2 recognizes the boundary, and the means 3 discriminates the classification by numerical values, and the means 4 displays it. After input of the user, the means 2 recognizes the boundary of data by the number of digits in the array of the storage element, and the means 3 discriminates the classification of data, and the means 4 displays it. Thus, the same input means is used to display the length of the paper roll, the number of copies, the magnification, etc., on the display means. |
