PURPOSE:To dispose of a jam of a transfer material in a paper manual feeding device with simple operation by providing the paper manual feeding device consisting of a carrying roller connected to at least a drive source and a guide plate on an upper cover closing an upper opening of a casing body of a paper feeding cassette housing transfer materials. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding cassette 16 housing transfer materials is detachably inserted in a picture image forming device main body 10. A paper manual feeding device consisting of a carrying roller connected to at least a drive source and a guide plate 167 is provided on an upper cover 164 closing an upper opening of a casing body 161 of the paper feeding cassette 16. It is made easy thereby to dispose of a jam.
