PURPOSE:To provide a sea tangle with fresh green color, improve preservation quality and carry out processing for enhancing merchandise value of the subject sea tangle by dipping a raw sea tangle with herring spawns in hot water at a specific temperature, then dipping the sea tangle in cold water, cooling the sea tangle and subsequently draining water. CONSTITUTION:A desalted raw sea tangle with herring spawns is dipped in a hot water extract solution of wood ash such as preferably fern ash prepared by adding 3-5% salt thereto and keeping the solution at a temperature within the range of 70+ or -5 deg.C for 7-13sec, then dipped in cold water, cooled and subsequently drained to afford the objective sea tangle. Furthermore, processing may be carried out without adding salt in the hot water and the sea tangle may be dipped in a seasoning (salt water, etc.) for about 30min after completing the processing. |
