The holder 2 comprises a mounting part 3 intended to be mounted on shelf front edges, product compartments, wire baskets and the like, and, connected to the part 3, a part 4 for receiving said information carrier 5. The part 4 intended for receiving said information carrier 5 is connected in an articulated manner to the mounting part 3. In order to allow the setting of different angles between the part 4 intended for receiving the information carrier and the mounting part 3, one of these parts is made with a support leg 9 which is connected in an articulated manner to the part in question.
