<p>PURPOSE:To apply test voltage with neither demounting works nor gas treatment processed at the time of a withstand voltage test at site by opening/closing an interruption section between a connecting conductor and a lightning arrester element section via an insulating member. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 27 is disposed at the upper section of a lightning arrester element section 10, one side surface of it is provided with a stationary side contact section 18, a conductor 26 is disposed at a position faced to the contact section 18, and a movable side contact section 19 is provided for the side of the stationary side contact section. At the time of a with stand voltage test at site when an operating lever 24 provided for the branch section 28 of a metallic container 9 is rotated, its torque is transmitted to a pinion 22 via an insulating rod 23, so that a rack 2 engaged with the pinion 22 is thereby driven to the axial direction. In this case, a rod 20 is also moved to the same direction, because the rack 21 is formed integrally with the movable rod 20. As a result, the rod 20 is parted from the contact section 18, the lightning arrester is thereby disconnected.</p> |
