<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten the hollow member which consist of coil springs, in which wedge type ring elements of coil spacer are interposed between ring elements thereof, and oil spacers locked together, performing plastic working to the extensive wire material having round cross section to form coil spacers. CONSTITUTION:A hollow member consists of an adhesive coil spring 2 and a coil spacer 3 locked together. The coil spacer 3 is made of the extensive material, for example, a copper wire and has round cross section. This wire material is processed plastically into wedge-form, and the coil spring 2 is extended to form clearance between each ring element 2a, and the processed wire material is wound between these clearances to form a hollow member. As a result, a coil spacer having a small diameter can be used to make the outer diameter of the hollow member as small as a desired diameter.</p> |
