The subject-matter of the invention is a power production installation, in which electrical energy is supplied from a solar generator via a DC convertor. The invention is characterised in that, with the aid of a microcomputer (7, 8, 9), the input resistance of the DC convertor (5) is continuously matched to the optimum operating point MPP (= Maximum Power Point), of the solar generator (6), which varies as a function of the solar radiation and of the solar-cell temperature.
