PURPOSE:To average a temperature distribution and improve the working accuracy due to a thermal expansion, by forming a passage which penetrates the space from the external surface of a shoe to the lapping paper pressing face of a stone and passes to the side face of the stone. CONSTITUTION:A passage 5 which penetrates the space from the external surface of a shoe 1 to the lapping paper 3 pressing face of a stone 2, yet is passed to the aside face of the stone 2 and a feeding means 4 which feeds coolant to this passage 5 at lapping time, are provided. The heat easy to be stagnated at the work 15 center part by lapping is thus removed with good efficiency by the coolant passing through the passage 5. |
