PURPOSE:To obtain the title particles excellent in shock absorption, rigidity and oil resistance by expanding small pellets of a resin composition comprising a PS resin, a PE resin and a specified block copolymer in a specified ratio with a volatile blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:Small pellets (at least 10 pellets/g) of a resin composition comprising 70-30wt.% PS resin (e.g. PS), 10-65wt.% PE resin (e.g. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer) and 5-20wt.% hydrogenated modified block copolymer comprising at least one vinyl-substituted aromatic compound polymer block A and at least one conjugated diene polymer block B, containing 0.5wt.% or above organic acid, acid anhydride or ester groups, and prepared by saturating at least 70% of the double bonds of the copolymer (e.g. Claiton FG1901X, a product of Shell Chemical Co.) are expanded with a volatile blowing agent (e.g. n- butane). |
