A photosensitive device is described. The photosensitive member of the device is made of an organic photoconductive film which is suitable for mass-production and unlikely to have cracks therein. The photoconductive film is provided with an abrasion-proof surface by coating the same with an amorphous film having a vickers hardness higher than 2000 Kg/mm2.
