PURPOSE:To newly obtain the title particles useful for cosmetic additives, etc., by blending a chitosan-containing viscose with polyethylene glycol, etc., heating, adding a coagulant and coagulating the viscose in the dispersion and then neutralizing. CONSTITUTION:For example, a chitosan-containing viscose is blended with 0.5-60wt.% aqueous solution of a water-soluble polyethylene glycol having >=1,500 (preferably 1,500-400,000) or a polyethylene glycol derivative and a chitosan- containing viscose fine particle dispersion is obtained at >=55 deg.C. Then the dispersion is heated to 60-90 deg.C, coagulated, neutralized with an acid, particles are separated from mother liquid, optionally washed with an acid, washed with water and dried to give the objective particles. When the chitosan-containing viscose is coagulated, a coagulant may be used. |
