PURPOSE:To continue the image forming action of this image forming device by controlling so as to keep the grid voltage of an electrifier with a controller when detection output shows abnormality by the fault of an electrometer. CONSTITUTION:A control part carries out the corrections of the electrifying grid voltage of an electrifying charger 7 and the driving voltage of a laser diode LD, based on the surface potential of a photosensitive body 1 detected by the electrometer 8, and simultaneously, the concentration of toner inside a developing unit 3 to a proper value, based on the detection output detected by a toner concentration sensor 9. Further, when the detected surface potential and the value of toner image density detection output exceed tolerance, the control part carries out the processing for the abnormality of a device such as the stopping of the using of the device. When only the signal of abnormal electrification is outputted, the controller carrying out the control so as to hold the grid voltage of the electrifier 7 on a constant value set in advance. Thus, the photosensitive body 1 is electrified corresponding to the grid voltage held on the constant value, and the copying action is continued without being stopped. |
