PURPOSE:To reduce the required fuel and the quantity of gas exhausted outside a system in the incineration disposal of a substance containing high humidity by utilizing the sensible heat of an exhaust gas produced by an incinerator, directly or indirectly at the maximum. CONSTITUTION:Raw sewage sludge M is sent to a direct-contact-type concentration device 2 and concentrated here in direct contact with a circulating gas which is a part of the exhaust gas from a fluidized-bed incinerator 1, and is sent further to the incinerator 1. Meanwhile, a part of the exhaust gas produced by the fluidized-bed incinerator 1 enters a heat-exchanger 4 together with the vaporized humidity of the raw sewage sludge through the concentration device 2. In the heat-exchanger 4, the exhaust gas is heated to a higher temperature under the sensible heat of the other part of the exhaust gas from the incinerator 1 and is returned as a fluidized gas to the incinerator 1. This exhaust gas preheats the combustion air A in an air preheater 3 and then its sensible heat is utilized at the maximum through the heatexchanger 4, and after that it is exhausted outside the system. |
