<p>PURPOSE:To solve problems caused by the conventional method for printing a dye on a resin or the like, and to obtain a highly reliable display device not causing parallax by coloring the transparent electrode itself of a multicolor display type liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:Colored parts 11 are formed on the liquid crystal side of the glass substrates 1, 1 of a multicolor display type liquid crystal display device by the method for dispersion of metal ions or metallic colloid, etc., such as screen printing or masking vapor deposition of Se red or Cu red for red, Co oxide for blue, and Cu-Cr series for green etc. Next, the parts 11 are covered with transparent electrodes 3 formed in a prescribed pattern, and they are further coated with orienting films. Then, both substrates are allowed to face each other using sealing materials 6 between both ends of them. Liquid crystals are introduced into the space and it is sealed. The superior display device thus obtained is prevented from being affected by dependency on sight angle, and parallax, etc. due to the thickness of the panel, and capable of high temp. printing of the orienting films 4.</p> |
