A liquid-level regulator for tanks, in particular fish- breeding tanks, has a siphon pipe 11 which is arranged on a lower level than the tank edge 15. The inlet end 18 of the siphon pipe is at a level close to the bottom 17 of the tank, while the outlet end 27 of the siphon pipe is on a higher level than the inlet end 18 and extends down into an intermediate storage container 14, 22 arranged outside the tank. The siphon pipe is guided through the tank wall. The intermediate storage container is arranged on a higher level than the tank bottom and is connected to a run-off 13 via an overflow 25 which preferably has a height-adjustable overflow edge. <IMAGE> |
