PURPOSE:To reconcile integral opening/closing and independent opening/closing by opening and closing a main device and an additional device independently to an image forming device, and connecting both devices to each other by a connecting means. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 35 is fixed to an additional device A, and its needle is pivotally supported by a pin 35a to the lower end part of a lever 36 supported by a pin 36a. A lever 37 is supported to the additional device A by a pin 37a, and the upper end part of the lever 36 is engagingly locked to its upper part by a pin 36b. A horizontal bar 40 is guided to a horizontal guide 39 fixed to the left end part of the additional device A, and a pin 40a on the right end of the horizontal bar 40 is engagingly locked to an elliptic hole 37b on the lower end part of the lever 37. A main device B has a receiving member 41 on the right end part. At the time of integration, the solenoid 35 is ON, and the horizontal bar 40 is fitted to the receiving member 41. Thus, by ON of the solenoid 35, the main device B is connected to the additional device A and integrally opened and closed, and a jammed document between the both can be subjected to jam processing without breakage. |
