An arrangement for continuously delivering, at a substantially constant speed, a medium consisting of a slurry or a material with high viscosity, comprises a tower 1 with an essentially central inlet 2 at the lower end and an outlet 3 at the upper end and means designed to feed the medium into the tower at a substantially constant speed by way of the inlet. The arrangement also comprises a means 12-14, 22 designed to supply gas to the medium at points distributed along the periphery of the tower in its lower area, with an overpressure exceeding at least its static pressure in this area.
