<p>PURPOSE:To improve paper feeding performance by energizing an energizing means for energizing a middle plate by a pressurizing spring resisting the sum of a part of the weight of a maximum size sheet, a part of the weight of the middle plate, and the feed pressure of a feed roller, and a pressurizing spring resisting the sum of the remaining weight. CONSTITUTION:A middle plate 2 on which sheets S are stacked is rotatable with the rear end part as an axis, and a pressurizing spring A and a pressurizing spring B differed in characteristic from it are provided on the back surface side of the front end part along the lateral direction. The pressurizing spring A is disposed below a feed roller 13 near a side end standard 5, and the pressurizing spring B is disposed in the opposite side. The pressurizing spring A has a spring force resisting the sum of a part of the weight of the maximum size sheet S, a part of the weight of the middle plate 2 and the paper feed pressure of a feed roller 13, and the pressurizing spring B has a spring force resisting the remaining weights of the sheets S and the middle plate 2. When the sheet S remaining weight or size is changed, thus, the paper feeding pressure is not largely changed, and paper feed action is stably performed.</p> |
