<p>The method for sealing an EL display device by using a protective solvent comprises the steps of applying and hardening a resin on a front glass substrate (21) having electrodes (22)(26) by a screen printing process, applying the resin on the hardened resin portion by the screen printing process, applying and hardening the resin on a rear glass substrate (28) and in the opposite side, and adhering and hardening the resin layers of the front and rear substrates, thereby protecting the EL device from external humidity and electrical breakdown.</p> |
