Plant watering device, particularly for indoor (house) plants, comprising a reservoir (1) intended to contain a specific quantity of water, at least one watering member (13) connected to the reservoir via a pipe (12), a controlled member (10) for placing the pipe in communication with the reservoir, characterised in that it also includes an electronic circuit (20) for programming the times at which and the duration for which the reservoir is placed in communication with the pipe by means of the said controlled member (10), and an independent energy source (21) for powering the electronic circuit (20) and the member (10) for placing in communication, the programming circuit (20), the energy source (21) and the member (10) for placing in communication being accommodated in a common base (22) which supports the reservoir (1). <IMAGE>
