A digital television includes an A-D converter (100) for converting received video signals into digital signals. A color/brightness separating means separates video signals of a line (1) into color signals and brightness signals, and outputs them through lines (2,3). A picture displacement sensing means detects horizontal and time displacements of the separated brightness signals, and compares the two displacements to correct the deviations through a displacement correcting device. Further, the picture displacement sensing means detects and compensates the displacements of the signals received through the line (1), and outputs them through a line (15).
